Hello everyone it has been a long time since I posted some news on here I have been busy with real life and no longer have the time to look after Retroplay USB.
I am looking for someone with experience in the Ubuntu or other Linux kernel that can do up a stripped down Linux kernel for Retroplay USB.
Running Retroplay USB off of a light Linux kernel instead of the current FreeDOS would be very benificial it would give that 100% compatibility with full sound that Retroplay USB currently does not have.
If anyone would be interested you can send me an e-mail at retroplayusb@retroplayusb.com

Hello Everyone,
Over the course of December iv added a fair number of games to the Retroplay USB website but until now haven't had the time to make the news post because I was busy with the holidays and what not.
Well enough yaking and lets get to what you want to know
The games have been added to the Retroplay USB games section are the following
Number of games added:39
Total games count as of January 9th 2011 is now:90
To see the list of games click on More Info at the bottom of this news post
In related or not so related news:I have noticed that i have got 800 visitors now as opposed to the 240 i had before Christmas so i have decided it is time for me to try and finish up the new Retroplay USB website that is currently in development behind the scenes that i mentioned in the news post when i moved this site to the new www.retroplayusb.com domain name in September.
I have put up a poll on this site wether you like the current layout or if you think the website should have an entirely new website that is easier to navigate and more simple and easier to look at.

Retroplay has now been featured on the Squakenet.com Abandonware Times blog.
The blog post talks about the portability and plug and play capabilites of Retroplay which rival that of the more popular open source Dos emulator DosBox which in retrospect isnt plug and play and requires you to edit difficult config files and type in commands and stuff.
Something that wasn't mentioned in the blog post is that Retroplay USB is compatible with alot more games than DosBox and without slowdown and in the upcomming Retroplay v2 their will be 90% if not more compatibility with dos games and also other games as well.
You can check out the blog post here http://squakenet.blogspot.com/2010/11/portable-usb-games.html
We were also featured on OldSchoolApps.com and that post talked about how easy it is to use Retroplay that even a child can use it.
to check that out click here http://www.oldschoolapps.com/emulators/1410-retroplay-usb
